About Me

Mary: Pittsburgh based artist and photographer Mary Eklund is strongly suited in post-production imagery. Through the use of several types of mixed mediums, Mary often creates images that explore the themes of reality and identity. Through the use of shape, pattern, color, and texture Mary blurs the lines between the worlds of digital art, photography, and even painting. Mary Eklund is breaking down the walls between the mediums and causing many to question, “what is photography?” In this way, Mary sets her work apart from most other photography currently being produced.
